NTES is a nice app developed by the Indian Railways to provide the people the chance to find out everything they need to know about train schedules and timings on your Smartphones. This app has an intuitive user interface. The home screen of the app lists down all the main features it has to offer to the travelers. This makes navigating the app an easier proposition for everyone. You will have no difficulty in utilizing the different features of this app, as they are all available here on its home screen. It was pleasing to see that the app didn't require much in the name of permissions from the users too. Being one of those who don't like getting their privacy invaded, it was one of the best features the app afforded me.

The NTES app's best feature by far is that it allows you to view the status of your train. You can locate the whereabouts of your train simply by typing in its name or number in a search dialog box and hit the search button. You can enhance the search by selecting the station from where it left and the day when it was due to arrive. The app is going to find the relevant information from the Indian Railways website and get back to you with the details in an instant. It was greatly pleasing for me to see how quickly the app worked and provided me the exact location of my train in a matter of minutes.

Another great feature offered by the NTES app is that of Live Station. You can view what is going on at a particular station in real-time. With this feature, details regarding each train that are present at that station can be easily accessed using this official Indian Railways app. You just have to type in the name of the station and check-mark on the time duration when the trains are due to arrive on the station. The full detail of each train will be listed by the app within seconds.

The NTES app also has a feature which allows you to view the schedule that each train has been assigned by the Indian Railways. This feature gives you the opportunity to know when a train is going to leave a particular station and when it will be arriving at its destination. To make use of this feature, all you have to do is to enter the train's number or name in the search dialog box that is offered to you and then tap 'Show Schedule'. The app will list down the schedule of all the trains immediately for you to see.
